Old Dominion University’s Division of Research and Economic Development is the university’s largest division of research. This Division unifies and focuses the advanced research of nine distinct and diverse multidisciplinary applied research centers.

The Division also manages a robust portfolio of contracts and leads ODU’s engagement in several formal partnerships which provide ODU faculty a pathway to collaborate with other researchers and allows opportunities for the university to contract work with other sponsors.
